Inorganic metal complexes, materials, organo-synthesis, biological systems, and catalysis may all benefit from the use of coordination chemistry. The structural and coordination properties of the ligands and complexes, as well as their applications, such as asymmetric organic transformations, potential anticancer agents, antibacterial, antioxidative, and antifungal properties, nitrogen reduction, hydrogen evolution and oxidation, mercury poisoning treatment, and others, have all been reviewed by the authors.
