Preface
It is our privilege to present the Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on New Paradigms in Economy, Commerce, and Society (ICNPECS 2026), themed “Shaping the Future – Innovation, Sustainability, and Inclusive Growth in a Globalized Economy,” organized by the School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus, in collaboration with Durban University of Technology, South Africa, and with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK, serving as the Knowledge Partner. The conference was successfully held on 14 March 2026 and brought together scholars, researchers, industry experts, policymakers, practitioners, and students from across the globe. The rapidly evolving global landscape demands innovative approaches to addressing economic, commercial, technological, and societal challenges. ICNPECS 2026 provided a vibrant interdisciplinary platform for the exchange of ideas, research findings, and practical insights focused on innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, financial inclusion, governance, and inclusive development. The conference sought to foster meaningful dialogue on emerging paradigms that can contribute to resilient, equitable, and sustainable growth in an increasingly interconnected world.
The conference received an overwhelming response from researchers and academicians worldwide, with more than 200 submissions in the form of extended abstracts and full papers. Following a rigorous peer-review process, 120 high-quality research contributions were selected for presentation. The extended abstracts compiled in this volume include only selected abstracts representing the diversity of contemporary research and reflect scholarly engagement with critical issues shaping the future of economy, commerce, and society.
The conference featured distinguished keynote addresses, expert deliberations, and meaningful interactions among participants from academia, industry, government, and professional bodies. The discussions emphasized the need to rethink traditional economic and business models in response to rapid technological advancements, changing societal expectations, and global sustainability challenges. The speakers highlighted the importance of innovation, responsible governance, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and inclusive growth in shaping the future of economies and societies worldwide. A major highlight of the conference was the Industry–Academia Panel Discussion on “Shaping the Future – Innovation, Sustainability, and Inclusive Growth in a Globalized Economy.” The discussion brought together experts from diverse domains who shared valuable insights on the role of innovation, technology, media, entrepreneurship, public policy, and research in fostering sustainable and inclusive development. The deliberations provided participants with diverse perspectives and practical approaches to addressing contemporary global challenges.
This proceedings volume serves as a repository of the intellectual contributions presented during the conference and reflects the commitment of researchers toward advancing knowledge and generating practical solutions for contemporary challenges. The collection of extended abstracts showcases emerging ideas, innovative research approaches, and interdisciplinary perspectives that contribute to ongoing scholarly and professional discussions in the fields of economy, commerce, finance, technology, management, and society.
We express our sincere gratitude to all authors, reviewers, keynote speakers, panelists, session chairs, delegates, organizing committee members, and institutional partners whose invaluable contributions ensured the success of ICNPECS 2026.
