The Song I Never Sang: A Poetic Tribute

Before the first word found its breath,
before memory learned to ache,
there lived a silence—
soft as soil,
ancient as the sky before dawn.

This book is born from that silence.

It is the echo of things felt but never spoken,
of questions that lingered in the corners of childhood,
of truths buried beneath habit, faith, and fear.
It is a gathering of moments—
some tender, some unsettling—
each one a fragment of what it means to be human.

Here, innocence walks barefoot through fields of dust,
holding hands with wonder.
Here, love blooms and withers,
faith rises and fractures,
and the world we build reveals both its beauty and its wounds.

These poems do not seek to teach—
they seek to remember.
They do not offer answers—
they sit beside the questions.

A return.

Perhaps these are not just my unsung songs.
Perhaps they are yours too—
waiting, somewhere deep within,
for a voice.

And so, this book does not begin—
it listens.
