About the Book:

Stories often bloom in small rooms—between hostel corridors, library benches, and late-night chai shops. This novel is a reflection of that world: messy, loud, full of mistakes, but also full of courage.  Through Rithesh, Sneha, Ravi, and Kabir, I wanted to capture what it means to be young in a city like Bangalore—pulled between freedom and fear, between love and loss, between silence and rebellion.

Ravi represents laughter lost too soon. Kabir carries the guilt of silence and the redemption of sacrifice. Sneha embodies quiet strength—the kind that doesn’t scream, but refuses to bend. And Rithesh is every student who starts ordinary but is shaped into something stronger by trials he never asked for.  The themes in this book—friendship, love, hostel rivalry, corruption, accidents, death, and resilience—mirror events we might hear around us every day. Some details were fictionalized, but the emotions are more real than facts.

If this story leaves you with anything, let it be this: speak when silence is dangerous, love fiercely despite fear, and never underestimate the strength of ordinary hearts. Because sometimes, the biggest revolutions don’t happen in parliaments or offices—they begin in classrooms, hostels, rooftops, and young voices that refuse to be silenced.

Thank you, dear reader, for walking through these pages. May Rithesh and Sneha’s story remind you of a truth we often forget: even in shadows, light survives. And sometimes, that light is love.
